Badesha & Associates is looking for a full-time Real Estate Conveyancer with 3+ years to join our team at our Abbotsford office.

About the role:

  • Manage intake of documents and file related materials
  • Assist with drafting, issuing, and following up on invoices
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments
  • Prepare real estate transaction documents from start to finish, including but not limited to client intake, document preparation (Form A Transfers, Form B Mortgages, Land Owner Transparency Declarations and Reports, Property Transfer Tax Returns, Statements of Adjustments, etc.), document registration, final reporting, and file closing.
  • Perform due diligence searches, including BCOnline, BC Company Searches, Personal
  • Property Registry and myLTSA
  • Prepare and file Land Title registrations and discharges
  • Prepare and file PPSA discharges
  • Document preparation and management
  • Attend to bank-runs to facilitate conveyance completions
  • Prepare trust reconciliations, reporting letters and accounts 

About you:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a conveyancer
  • Handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment and comply with deadlines
  • Work both independently and in a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent English language communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Pragmatic and keep the team apprised of the status of the files
  • Proficient with using ProSuite, myLTSA, BC Registries, FCT LLC platform, Assyst (Unity)
  • platform, MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook and Adobe 
  • A Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate or Paralegal diploma from an accredited
  • post-secondary institution
  • Driver’s licence and vehicle required
